27TH ANNUAL MOVIE GUIDE AWARDS

RED CARPET OF FAITH

Jackie, the French Reporter, lit up the red carpet of faith at the 27th Annual Movie Guide Awards. This event, held at the beautiful Universal Hilton, celebrates the best, most inspiring Christian and family-friendly movies and TV shows of the past year. This is Jackie’s most favored event, because it puts the spotlight right where it belongs, on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jackie had the awesome privilege of speaking to many of our favorite, angelic celebrities who were happy to share their reasons for participating in the Movie Guide film.

First up was American actress, voice actress, and singer, the beautiful Lacey Chabert. Although this was Lacey’s first attendance at this event, she has been a longtime supporter of faith-based films.

Faith, Hope & Love actress Natasha Bure, along with her mother, Full House actress Candace Cameron-Bure were next in line. Candace was absolutely delighted as she expressed her excitement that this event was going to be televised for the first time on Hallmark Channels.

Jackie was also delighted to speak with Priscilla Presley who explained her views on faith-based films and TV shows. She believes that these shows are a means of bringing families together by breaking through the digital and social media barriers that often divide families.

Canadian actress, producer and interior designer Rukiya Bernard stopped to chat with Jackie. She expressed her belief in the importance of this the MovieGuide Award show because there is no other award show which celebrates family and faith-based programs.

A-List star Jon Voight also stopped by to speak with Jackie. Voight explained that he supports faith-based and family friendly programs because they promote family values and morality.

Lastly, Jackie spoke with actor, producer, and writer Neal McDonough finds it truly remarkable to be able to work in a profession that he loves while also being able to celebrate God; which, as he says, ‘does not always go hand-in-hand.’

All in all, it was one glorious night. Never have we seen such a beautiful crowd in Hollywood. The celebrities were absolutely radiating with the joy of the Lord. It was a wonderful sight to behold, indeed.
