Halloween in June? The 41st Annual Saturn Awards.
It was Halloween in June for Jackie Watson, the French Reporter, as she came face-to-face with slasher film star Michael Myers at The 41st Annual Saturn Awards on June 25, 2015, in Burbank, California.
Myers, the primary antagonist in all of the Halloween films, stood in dead silence, staring unblinking and cold as Jackie talked with Halloween producer Malek Akkad and others. But Jackie, not deterred by Myers’ eerie presence, continued on her mission and was successful in tracking down several of the events 500 guests.
She spoke extensively with actress and award host Chase Masterson about the history of the event, the founders and more. She also exchanged a few laughs, conversations, and games with many of the other attendees such as actress and comedian Yvette-Nicole Brown, actor and writer Ben Browder, actor James Remar, director/producer and a newly self-proclaimed ‘passion ingredient,’ Mr. Marcus Nispel.
Overall, the event was a success and we were glad to be a part of it. And—we are happy to report that
Jackie survived the death-gripping glares of Michael Myers and she left the event unharmed and unshaken.
