“The Care Concert: There’s No Place That’s Home” Raises Approximately $30,000 to End Homelessness in Southern California

June 11th, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA – Saturday night, musicians, philanthropists, and celebrities joined together at the Palace Theatre in Downtown, Los Angeles for We Can California’s The Care Concert: There’s No Place That’s Home to raise funds and awareness to the homelessness crisis in Southern California.

Kelly Osbourne, Madeline Zima, and Karina Smirnoff were the Masters of Ceremonies for the evening. The meaningful event included a silent auction, a VIP Reception, and many lovely duets and musical performances.

The concert was a beautiful evening where success and generosity came together to truly impact the homelessness crisis, with 100% of the money raised being given directly to those in need through the work of Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission and The Teen Project.

Additional members of the host committee included Vivica A. Fox, Melissa Rivers, Melia Kreiling, Laraine Newman, Lisa Loeb, Esai Morales, as well as Karina Smirnoff and Madeline Zima.

The incredible evening was sponsored by Earthly Body, American B Bank, Mullen & Filippi, Galpin Ford, Joico-Zotos, Open Door Packaging, Pravana, Rusnak Rolls Royce, Russel Westbrook, Sexy Hair Concepts, Union Bank, ZG04 Décor, Americ-Aid, Hint Water, KLOS, The Los Angeles Lakers, M-6 Fitness, and Rock Cellar Magazine.
