All claws were out when Jackie Watson, the French cat reporter, pounced onto the red carpet at the 2018 Celebrity CATstravaganza in Hollywood, California.
With a soft hiss and a low meoowwww, cat Jackie clawed her way down the rich, velvety catwalk, methodically stalking the glittering herd of celebrity prey. Spotting her first unsuspecting victim, cat Jackie suddenly leaped upon a stunned, Shawn Simons. But, upon hearing the friendly, playful purr of cat Jackie, Simons, the representative for Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, quickly lowered her guard and extended a paw of friendship to cat Jackie. And, as they meow, the rest is kitty history …
The 2018 Celebrity CATstravaganza, held to help raise money for the homeless, overlooked street cats of Los Angeles, was a huge success. The celebrity talent line up was quite extensive and better than ever. Numerous celebrities such as Fred Willard, Emily Deschanel, and MoShow The Cat Rapper, were in attendance, as was the-best-of-the-best, actress Nicole Sullivan, aka “The Best Person in the Play,” aka “The Most Exciting Person in the Play,” aka “The Most Talented Person in the Play.” Need we say more?
“The Play” (see above mention of Nicole Sullivan) being the new musical comedy spoof “Hamilton’s Cats,” left everyone meowing with laughter.
Musical performances by Almond&Olive and Fantastic Fig and his cat Newton were simply, kitty-larious (is that a word?)
All-in-all, it was a kittyKat kind of night: No catnip was found in the house and the kitty litter was left clean and undisturbed! Meeeoooowwww!!!!
The 2018 Celebrity CATstravaganza is a fund-raiser hosted by Kitty Bungalow in which 100 percents of all ticket sales go to the homeless cats of Los Angeles. Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats is the only organization in L.A. that provides specialization for feral and stray cats. They are committed to providing grown ferals their GED diplomas by providing spay/neuter services in the form of Trap Neuter Release (TNR) within Los Angeles city limits. Their mission is to provide all cats able to adjust to indoor life with a warm and loving lifelong home, while providing those cats who need to continue living outdoors with a caring colony manager, assuring all cats, lap or otherwise, a humane, happy and healthy existence.
