Kitty Bungalow and Catbaret 2015
Jackie Watson, the french reporter had celebrities meowing as she did her catwalk on the red carpet at the Catbaret 2015 fund-raiser held at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood on August 1st.
Celebrating its 5th anniversary, Catbaret is a fund-raiser hosted by Kitty Bungalow in which 100 percent of all ticket sales go to the homeless cats of Los Angeles. Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats is the only organization in L.A. that provides specialization for feral and stray cats. They are committed to providing grown ferals their GED diplomas by providing spay/neuter services in the form of Trap Neuter Release (TNR) within Los Angeles city limits. Their mission is to provide all cats which are able to adjust to indoor life, a warm and loving lifelong home, while providing those cats who need to continue living outdoors with a caring colony manager; assuring all cats, lap or otherwise, a humane, happy and healthy existence.
The Catbaret 2015 celebrity talent line up was quite extensive and better than ever. Numerous celebrities such as Elaine Hendrix, Jaime Ray Newman and Hal Sparks performed feline-themed songs, dances, comic acts and more, all of which made the cat-loving audience fall even more in love with cats (as if that were possible).
Jackie talked with Kitty Bungalow representative Shawn Simons concerning the needs of the organization. She also talked extensively with several celebrities and fund-raiser attendees such as the handsome Matt Raimo, Katie Cleary, and Jeffery Parise about their favorite love songs, guilty pleasures, beauty secrets and future plans.
Other celebrities in attendance included Steven Davis, Carmine Giovinazzo, Dorianna Sanchez and many more.
