Stand Up To ALS with Dane Cook
We aren’t quite sure yet just how much money was raised (math is hard) but the Main Room of The World Famous Comedy Store was sold out for a very special event, Stand Up for ALS.
Jackie Watson the french reporter was first on the red carpet to interview host Raj Sharma to find out what this sold out event was all about. He explained proceeds from the event would support The Deb Bailey Foundation for Motor Neurone Disease (ALS) Research and the Deb Bailey Motor Neurone Disease (ALS) Research Laboratory.

Motor Neuron Disease (ALS),is a progressive nervous system disease that weakens the nerves that control muscles, leading to paralysis and eventually death. There is no known cure, but the Deb Bailey Foundation is working to change that.
In addition to side splittingly witty Raj Sharma,Tom Rhodes, Brett Riley, Tone Bell, Ahmed Ahmed and Shawn Pelofsky filled the bill. Rounding out the night was Dane Cook, who never fails to take you where you didn’t think you really wanted to go, but were glad you did.
Jackie was surprised by a visit from her friend from New York City Holly DeRito (Dee-Ree-toe), founder Waggytail Rescue. The group’s current “pet” project is rescues California Chihuahuas in crisis and flies them one by one to loving homes in NYC.
It was later discovered that WHQ’s Bobby the Dog Reporter was cavorting with Holly DeRito’s very pretty Chihuahua, Angelina, while Jackie and Holly were at the event. No further information is available at this time but it has been rumored that the two are having an affair. No children are expected.
