2018 PRE-PARTY EMMY’S #SEEHER EVENT
Jackie, the French Reporter, joined some of the biggest celebrities on the red carpet as they came out for some pre-2018 Emmy Awards fun at the #SeeHer event held at the Hotel Sofitel in LA!
#SeeHer has become one of the most impactful initiatives of the ANA. They are dedicated and committed to the accurate portrayal of women and girls in media.
Jackie caught up with American actress, model, and screenwriter, Celeste Thorson who was very excited to be at the event because the event focuses on strong female roles. She likes the fact that women are breaking the mold and raising the bar as they are now playing roles such as action hero’s that men used to play in film. She would like to see stronger, leading female roles.
NFL Network anchor and reporter Taylor Bisciotti was also in attendance and she stopped by to speak with Jackie as well. Taylor is a true supporter of #SeeHer because it celebrates women in the media. Being a sports reporter herself, she believes that women should be portrayed as equals in the media. She is thankful to the women who paved the road before her and she strongly believes in women supporting and lifting up other women instead of tearing each other down.
Jackie also spoke to actress and comedian Renee Willett who enjoys being a part of an organization that helps empower women in the television industry. She believes that #SeeHer is a true movement that empowers women. Actress Tonya Reneé Banks believes that this is the year and time for all women.
#SeeHer award winner and American professional wrestler Nia Jax took a moment to speak with Jackie to show her appreciation.
American blogger, columnist, and television personality, Perez Hilton spoke with Jackie regarding what he believes makes a good party: FREE alcohol. Need we say more?
The event was a success and Jackie was delighted to be in attendance. We just hope she does not take advantage of the FREE alcohol. Cheers!
