TELEVISION INDUSTRY ADVOCACY AWARDS
Jackie Watson, the French Reporter, was on the red carpet at the Fourth Annual Television Industry Advocacy Awards, held at the Sofitel LA in Beverly Hills. The event sponsored by Advocacy Honors and The Creative Coalition is held in honor of the leaders in the television industry who effectively use their platforms to raise awareness and help impact society in positive ways.
Jackie had the pleasure of speaking with founder Paul Turcotte who explained further significance and importance of this event. He believes that the television industry as a community is in the position to make changes in the lives of others and our society. He also believes that the people who use their platforms to make a difference for someone other than themselves should be recognized for their selflessness.
American television chef and author Sandra Lee, also in attendance, took a moment to speak with Jackie regarding her reasons for being a part of this advocacy program. She believes that it is important to honor people who do, do their work.
American comedian, model, actress, and producer Niecy Nash is a big believer in the arts. The arts is where she believes she can express herself. For this reason she has become a part of this advocacy.
Jackie also had the pleasure of speaking with American television writer and producer Bill Prady; American actor Xolo maridueña; American celebrity stylist, designer, and television personality Phillip Bloch; American actress Lea Thompson; American actress, singer and dancer Cassie Scerbo; and many other celebrities who attended this wonderful event.
It was truly a great night and we celebrate all who help make positive impacts on our society.
