Entourage – The film is produced by Mark Wahlberg who also produced the TV show. It was a dream project based on Wahlberg’s own adventures in Hollywood.
Entourage debuted on HBO July 18, 2004. It ran for eight seasons finally ending its run on September 11, 2011. Entourage follows the story of Vincent Chase and his acting career as well as his hilarious sycophantic best friends: Eric Murphy or “E,” Johnny “Drama” Chase, and Salvatore “Turtle” Assante. It also features Jeremy Piven as Vincent’s sleazy agent Ari Gold. This summer, the boys finally take their adventures in Hollywood to the silver screen in what is sure to have more cameos than possibly any movie ever in the history of Hollywood. The film is produced by Mark Wahlberg who also produced the television show which means that he’s going to have a ton of friends showing up to give the crew their support. It was a dream project based on Wahlberg’s own adventures in Hollywood. Entourage hits theaters on June 3, 2015.
