In the Zone with Shirly Brener
World renowned relationship expert and counselor, Dr. Elena Eustache recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk one-on-one with a very special guest, Shirly Brener.
Shirly Brener, born in Haifa, Israel is an actress and producer, known for Righteous Kill (2008), Employee of the Month (2006) and The Grey Zone (2001). She has also played roles in films such as Hitlist, Meet Bill, Shadow of Fear, Touched, and Property of Righteous Kill Prod. in which she played along side Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro.
Shirly’s desire to become an actress came when she watched her mother, an Israeli pioneer actress from the 70’s and 80’s, perform on stage in theaters and also in films.
During the interview, Shirly and Dr. Eustache discuss many different topics. Shirly shares with Dr. Eustache how she manages to keep her marriage and family in tact while working as a high-profile actress. Shirly talks about the challenges she believes that married couples face today. She also talks about the docu-series/reality tv show that she and her family shot over a course of 14 months.
In addition, she shares her view points on what she believes makes a successful marriage and she also shares her thoughts on divorce in Hollywood.
Lastly, Shirly lists the three things that she would like to know about men. First, Shirly wants to know how men can wear the same pair of pants for seven days without washing them. The second question she asks is how men can watch thousands of hours of sports. And the last question she poses is why men cannot remember anything a women tells them. Dr. Eustache as always, has the answers!
